General Club Information
What is currently the Club initiation fee?
Through May 1, 2010, there is no initiation fee for Golfing or Social Members. However, for Golfing Members, there is a two year commitment when joining.
What are the monthly dues?
$220.00 for Regular Golf (Age 41 and above)
$125.00 for Intermediate Golf (Age 18-40)
$75.00 for Social A
$30.00 for Social B
What is included in these monthly dues?
Golfing Memberships include all green fees plus the use of the clubhouse and dining rooms. Social Memberships include the use of the clubhouse and dining rooms.
Are members required to buy a class B share of stock?
A stock purchase is required for Regular Golfing Members and optional for Intermediate members. Should an Intermediate Member desire voting rights, they must then purchase stock for $500. Once an Intermediate Member reaches the age of 41, stock purchase will be required (if not already purchased).
What happens to the share of stock if I decide to leave Ulen?
The purchase of a Class “B” share of stock represents each member’s share in the equity of Ulen. If you decide to leave Ulen, you then relinquish your stock back to the club for $250.00.
What is the purpose of the capital improvement fee?
The capital improvement fee of $30.00 for Regular Golfing Members, $25 for Intermediate Golfing Members, and $5.00 for Social Members, is presently used to pay down our debt. In the future it can be utilized for golf course or clubhouse improvements.
How may I pay for club charges?
You may charge golf course fees and pro shop purchases on your credit card or pay for them by check in the Pro Shop at the time of purchase – or have them added to your monthly bill. You may also pay dining room charges by cash or credit card after your meal – or have these charges added to your monthly bill.

Are there greens fees for members?
Greens fees are included in the monthly dues for UlenCC golfing members.
What are cart fees at UlenCC?
Carts are charged at $16.00 per 18 holes
Do you have driving range fees?
The driving range is free to all members and their guests
What are guest fees for golf?
Guests play 18 holes at UlenCC for $42.00 plus cart fees
How many guests can a member bring at any one time?
There is no limit to guests you can bring to play golf. However, if you wish to bring more than 3 guests, you must first contact the golf professional.
What is the Mill River plan?
The “Mill River” Plan was adopted to give UlenCC golfing members below market pricing on all Pro Shop products. Any item purchased in the Pro Shop is only marked up 10% above cost for the membership. Special orders are marked up 15% above cost. To offer these low prices, we bill each member $100 ($25/month for 4 consecutive months in the spring) to compensate for lost profits in the Pro Shop.
What golfing groups are available and when do they meet?
Organized golf groups include the annual Ulen Men's Club, the Ulen Ladies' Golf Association, and a Junior Golf program that meets 7 times during the summer. We also have several men’s, ladies’ and couples' events planned throughout the season. For more details, please contact the Golf Professional.
Are there restrictions on golf tee times?
Occasionally there will be limited tee times due to tournaments and/or functions. On Mondays the golf course does not open for play until 1:00 p.m.
How do I reserve a golf locker or have my clubs stored at the club?
You may request a golf locker from the Club Manager and arrange to have your clubs stored with the Golf Professional.
How do I arrange for a golf game at the Club?
Contact our Golf Professional at the Pro Shop to make a tee time or to have the Pro put you in a group with other club members.
